The Story of 911

911 is a premier English pop group from the United Kingdom formed in 1995. The group consists of Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon "Spike" Dawbarn. While the members first crossed paths in the early 90s through the dance scene, they officially launched their musical assault in 1996 with their debut single "Night to Remember."

Their breakthrough came with their debut album The Journey in March 1997, which helped establish them as one of the most popular boybands of their era. The album was certified Gold by the BPI, setting the stage for a run of ten consecutive UK Top 10 singles. Their sound successfully blended upbeat dance-pop melodies with smooth vocal harmonies, making them a fixture on television and in pop magazines globally.

Over the years the group released numerous hit songs including "Bodyshakin'", "Private Number", and their UK Number 1 smash "A Little Bit More". Their music resonated with audiences across multiple countries, particularly in South East Asia, where their first two albums reached number one and they achieved superstar status, selling over 10 million singles worldwide.

Through arena tours, television appearances on The Big Reunion, and their 2013 comeback album Illuminate, 911 became a defining act within the global boyband movement. Their legacy continues to influence pop music, and the trio remains active today in 2026, performing for thousands of fans who have followed their journey from the 90s to the present day.
