dearALICE represents a historic collaboration between the UK and the global K-pop powerhouse SM Entertainment. Formed in 2024 through the BBC One docuseries Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience, the group was co-produced by SM, Kakao Entertainment, and British production company Moon&Back Media. The five-member group—comprised of James Sharp, Dexter Greenwood, Olly Quinn, Reese Carter, and Blaise Noon—was put through an intensive 100-day "K-pop bootcamp" in Seoul, training under the same rigorous standards as K-pop legends like SHINee, EXO, and NCT.

The group’s introduction to the world stage was truly global. In January 2025, they performed their debut track "Ariana" at the SMTOWN Live 2025 concert in Seoul, sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry. The single "Ariana" was officially released in February 2025, reaching #3 on the UK Sales Chart. Their sound is a sophisticated blend of British pop sensibilities and high-precision K-pop production, a hybrid style that has allowed them to bridge the gap between Western and Eastern music markets.

Following their debut, dearALICE continued their momentum with the release of their second single, "Sweet," in May 2025. Their first major body of work, the EP bitterSWEETsummer, arrived in June 2025, debuting at #15 on the UK Albums Sales Chart. The group has become famous not just for their music, but for their incredible work ethic and ability to master complex K-pop choreography, as seen in their high-profile performances on shows like Strictly Come Dancing and This Morning.

Today, dearALICE continues to grow its international fandom, known as "Alice’s A to Z." Managed by the label gamma in the US and Moon&Back in the UK, the group stands as the definitive experiment in global pop music—a British boyband with a K-pop soul.
